Eden was born and educated in London.
He graduated with a degree in Fine Art from Middlesex University and was featured in the New Contemporaries
exhibition at London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts that year.
Over the next thirty years he worked as a director of short films, music videos and commercials. During that time he
was based in London, Los Angeles and Sydney.
His commercial work has won him many awards including the highest accolade – two Gold Lions in Cannes 2005.
Throughout his time as a director Eden was constantly shooting stills, initially to document his travels and
locations – but more recently creating highly individual “still life’ works featuring fish, animals or found objects. This work started when he moved to Sydney in 2005.
He has had two solo shows at Gallery 8 in Sydney, ‘Against Nature’ in 2010 and ‘New Photographs’ in 2011.
He followed this with another solo show ‘Geminate’ at Sydney’s Black Eye Gallery in 2013 and was featured in their group summer show in 2015.
He then exhibited new work at The Other Art Fair (Sydney) in 2018 and the Black Eye Galleries winter show in 2020.
His photographs have also been featured in Art Life magazine, Edge of Humanity magazine and Art Edit magazine.
